Keyword Master
The seller-wide table of every keyword RankASIN knows about — tier, priority, trend, and cross-reference from your uploaded reports.
Keyword Master is the central table for your seller account's keyword inventory. Every keyword RankASIN has ever harvested from your Brand Analytics reports lives here. Rows are keywords; columns include tier, priority_1_to_5, trend_direction, and when the keyword was first seen.
Tier badges
Each keyword shows a colored tier badge:
- tier_1 — High-priority. These keywords belong in titles and primary PPC campaigns.
- tier_2 — Mid-priority. Good candidates for bullets, backend search terms, and PPC testing.
- tier_3 — Low-priority or long-tail. Backend keywords when you have room; not worth chasing at the cost of tier_1 coverage.
Tiers are auto-assigned by refreshKeywordMaster on every keyword harvest. You can manually override a keyword's tier — the engine won't overwrite manual changes.
Cross-reference columns
For each keyword, RankASIN tracks which of your Brand Analytics reports surfaced it. The getCrossReference function identifies:
- SQP-only — keyword appeared in Search Query Performance but not in Top Search Terms. You're getting impressions on this term but it hasn't risen to market-level significance.
- TST-only — keyword appears in the category-level Top Search Terms data but your ASIN isn't getting impressions for it yet. These are expansion targets.
- Both (SQP ∩ TST) — the highest-priority classification. You're in the game (SQP impressions) but not winning the click (visible in TST with competitors ahead of you). These terms deserve immediate title and PPC attention.
Manual actions
From the Keyword Master table you can:
- Promote or demote a tier — click the tier badge to cycle through tier_1 / tier_2 / tier_3
- Adjust priority — set
priority_1_to_5to sequence keywords within a tier - Mark conviction for an ASIN — opens the ASIN's strategy panel and sets
keyword_class = 'conviction'withkeyword_class_manual_override = trueso the engine never clears it
How it stays current
Keyword Master auto-updates every time you:
- Save an ASIN diagnostic (triggers keyword harvest from SQP + TST uploads)
- Upload a new Brand Analytics report (triggers re-harvest if a diagnostic has been run)
You can also manually trigger a refresh from the Keyword Master page. After each harvest, the classification engine re-scores per-ASIN keyword classes for all ASINs that have an active strategy. See Keyword tiers and classification for details on how tiers and classes interact.
